Jen Sayers
Owner, E-RYT500, YACEP, Professional Level Kripalu Yoga Teacher. Certified in Reiki levels 1&2, Thai Yoga, and Let Your Yoga Dance.
Jen considers herself a “Yoga facilitator”, always reminding students that their practice is their own and she is only a guide. Group classes incorporate breath work, postures and relaxation with attention to alignment, strength, flexibility and the mind body connection. With compassion and gentle humor Jen encourages the student to enjoy the exploration of their own experience of yoga; it is different for each of us. Jen approaches yoga instruction as an opportunity to assist the student in building a better, stronger more in-depth relationship with themselves. Students will learn to listen to their own wisdom to make safe and healthy choices on and off the yoga mat. You will leave Jen’s classes feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and restored.
Leslie Kramer

Leslie believes that “do more yoga” is the answer to most of life's questions and challenges. Yoga gives us the tools to center and quiet our minds, the means to explore our bodies and a general sense of connection to ourselves and our community. Leslie’s classes will focus on building strength, increasing range of motion and playing with balance on our mats; so that we can better cope with life off of our mats. Students will focus on the breath and gentle movement to foster a stronger mind body connection. There will be many options and adaptations offered in class for the student to make their practice their own. Leslie’s favorite T-shirt says “Yoga. Because punching people is frowned upon.” She believes that Yoga simply makes her a better human and looks forward to growing and laughing together on our mats!
Leanne Applin
RYT-200 Yoga Teacher
Leanne believes yoga is for everybody & every body. A passionate yogi, she seeks to ignite a spark for yoga in others, guiding students to find a yogic path that honors their needs. Leanne wholeheartedly feels yoga is healing in a myriad of ways, the ultimate act of love & connection-for ourselves & for others. Her style of teaching invites students to come as they are, to be gentle with themselves, to slow down & connect to the moment, to explore & reflect, to be playful & open. Leanne’s classes encourage developing alignment, strength & flexibility of our bodies but also with our minds & spirits.
Nyrelle Horton
Yoga Teacher
Nyrelle is a Vinyasa trained yoga teacher who focuses on physical alignment and breath work to help quiet the mind. She received her certification from High Peaks Yoga out of Saratoga Springs, NY. Nyrelle is highly focused on teaching new and existing yogis as they establish their personal yoga practice. She believes in the power of a gentle focused flow that will help ease everyday stress and bring inner peace that radiates to the outside experience.
Layne Calabro
RYT 200, Restorative Yoga Certification, Children's Yoga Certification
Yoga has been a way of life for Layne since her teens. She has studied various types of yoga with wonderful teachers and she has been teaching yoga for over 10 years. Each experience has helped her to go deeper in her yoga practice.
Layne believes that yoga allows for an undoing of physical and emotional patterns. Cultivating change and wisdom to let go of what no longer serves. You can expect a gentle class with Layne allowing to feel into each pose and modifying as needed. She would be honored to share her yoga practice with you and her goal is to create an accessible yoga experience for bodies of all ages.
Julie Lewis
RYT 200 Yoga Teacher
Julie discovered yoga while she was pregnant with her first child, seeking a gentle way to connect deeper with her changing body and the wonder, joy, aches and pains that come with being a new mother. With an extensive background in figure skating and dance, she thought yoga was another “sport” or form of physical exercise. It wasn’t until almost 10 years later that she explored the many paths of the yogic tradition, and began to connect with the spiritual, mental and emotional benefits of yoga.
Julie is trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, Sivananda, Restorative and Yin yoga. She enjoys sharing the “pause” that a yoga practice provides, making space for slowing down, reflection, connection and presence within the body and mind. Off the mat, Julie is a mom to humans and furbabies, a creative and the co-founder of C.R.E.A.T.E. Community Studios, a grass roots expressive arts non-profit in the capital region, promoting freedom of expression and the power of the creative arts to transform lives and communities.
Shannon Gaddin
RYT-200, Certified in Reiki 1 & 2
Shannon approaches yoga as a powerful tool that can help us to increase our awareness of the present moment and our place within it. In embracing the present moment we are able to release our anxiety and fear tied to the past and future, and access the power and agency that is available to all of us in each moment through breathing, asana and meditation practice. Shannon seeks to help students explore their own mind body connection, and awareness of the present moment with curiosity, playfulness and embodied heart centered practice that allows us to take what we learn in class off the mat and into the rest of our lives.
Rob Bowe
Yoga Teacher, Qigong Instructor, Reiki Master
While going through a life upheaval in 2011, Rob took up Yoga and other energy healing modalities. He left his life long home in Syracuse, NY and relocated to Colorado in 2013, where he continued this learning process. After receiving a miraculous healing of a painful spinal cord injury, Rob decided to take Yoga Teacher Training in Colorado Springs. This was followed by Qigong Instructor Training in Boulder. Rob then moved to northern Minnesota, where he taughtYoga and Qigong at the local YMCA, Yoga Studios and Community Education Programs. And now, he has returned here to Upstate NY with additional training and life experiences.Rob’s approach to Yoga and Qigong is based on viewing them as healing modalities. Drawing on his life experiences, he endeavors to bring real positive change to his students. He utilizes intuitive messages and energy healing to enhance the experience.
Luna Brooke
Professional Astrologer & Trauma Informed Spiritual Life Coach
Luna is our resident witch with specialties in astrology, rituals, & tarot. She has been a member of the American Federation of Astrologers since 2020 & weaves astrological insight into all of her events. While Luna may hold two engineering degrees, explaining the laws of physics & how forces move our material world, she is much more passionate about metaphysical reality & the invisible forces that move our energetic & emotional world.
Luna is a certified spiritual life coach with an additional 60 hours in integrative somatic trauma therapy training. Over the past five years of hosting sacred circles, she has witnessed the profound healing that happens within & without when people have a safe space to embody & express their most authentic selves. The world is alive with Spirit & the more we tap into that, the more magical life becomes. Join one of Luna's monthly Goddess Circles or Tarot & Tea events to experience this magick firsthand.
Karen Darfler
Karen is a talented and educated holistic health practitioner, whose modalities include yoga, massage therapy, and reiki. She has completed many certificates in yoga: including philosophy, functional vinyasa, pranayama, and asana sequencing. Her niche is really yin yoga; she completed a 300-hr advanced course in 2022 specifically focused on yin practice and its other aspects such as meridians, diverse anatomy studies, and myofascial and fascial release. Yin yoga is tranquil practice and a deep opening of the body based on the principles of traditional medicine. It is accessible to all skill levels and ages. Karen has taught and volunteered at several establishments, bringing the joy of learning to her classes, sprinkling them with mindfulness, and breath awareness.
